California Tower (San Diego Museum of Us)

The California Tower, part of the San Diego Museum of Us at 1350 El Prado in Balboa Park, was constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition and is a distinctive architectural landmark of the park. The tower adjoins the former Museum of Man building and houses museum-related exhibits and collections. After restoration work, the tower reopened for public guided tours in 2015 and is frequently cited as an iconic symbol of Balboa Park.
