The STRAT Tower - tallest freestanding observation tower in the U.S.

The STRAT (formerly Stratosphere) tower rises to 1,149 feet and is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States. The tower hosts several thrill rides at its top observation level, including Big Shot and Insanity. It also offers SkyJump Las Vegas, a controlled descent from 829 feet off the tower. The hotel and tower are a long-standing Las Vegas landmark on the north end of the Strip.
