Walters Bath No. 2

Walters Bath No. 2 is a historic bath house located in southwest Baltimore, Maryland, notable for its Renaissance Revival architecture and rich history. Constructed in 1901 by philanthropist Henry Walters and architect George Archer, this small brick building features distinctive Flemish bond masonry and Maryland limestone trimming. It served as part of Baltimore's public bath system until its closure in 1959, coinciding with the rise of indoor plumbing in the city. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, Walters Bath No. 2 offers a glimpse into the city's past and the evolution of public health facilities.
