Casa Navarro State Historic Site

Casa Navarro was the home of José Antonio Navarro, a Tejano leader and signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence, and dates to the mid-19th century. The site includes Navarro's restored residence, outbuildings, and a stone plaza that interpret his life and the political role of Tejanos in early Texas history. The property is owned and operated by the state of Texas as a historic site and museum in downtown San Antonio.
