Johnson House (University of Vermont)

Johnson House is a historic building located on the University of Vermont campus in Burlington, Vermont. Originally built in 1806 as part of a farm, it has a rich history, including being moved twice to accommodate campus development. The house was owned by John Johnson, a notable architect who contributed to the design of several key university buildings. Since 2002, it has served as the home of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, making it a center for research in sustainability and environmental economics.
