Kerr's Building

Kerr's Building is a heritage-listed shop located at 84–86 Churchill Street in Childers, Queensland, built around 1902. Originally constructed for Amelia Gertrude Overell after a fire destroyed previous shops, it showcases the architectural style of early 20th-century Queensland. The building has changed ownership several times, notably becoming a merchant store operated by Crow and Kingston, and later Kingston and Kingston. Today, it houses a real estate office along with a coffee shop and hairdresser. The building is recognized for its aesthetic significance and contribution to the historical streetscape of Childers, having been added to the Queensland Heritage Register in 1993.
