Minute Maid Park (Retractable-roof ballpark)

Minute Maid Park, home of the Houston Astros, opened in 2000 and features a fully retractable roof that allows games to be played in air-conditioned comfort. The ballpark incorporates the preserved façade and train shed of the historic Houston Union Station into its design. Minute Maid Park sits on the site of the former Union Station and includes a downtown location with views of the Houston skyline.
