Hensley–Gusman House

The Hensley–Gusman House, located in Bay City, Texas, is a historic Victorian-era residence built in 1905, showcasing unique architectural features such as a cross-plan layout and octagonal rooms. Originally designed by architect Henry Hensley for Alexander D. Hensley, the house is constructed from cypress lumber and features beautiful hart pine flooring and trim. It has been a family home for generations and is now a law office, maintaining its historical integrity. Designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1993 and a National Historic Place in 2007, the house offers a glimpse into early 20th-century architecture and local history.
