Wanamaker Organ - Grand Court pipe organ

The Wanamaker Organ is housed in the Grand Court of the historic Wanamaker Building (now Macy's Center City) and is widely cited as the largest fully operational pipe organ in the world. The instrument was assembled and expanded over decades beginning in the early 20th century for the Wanamaker department store and has tens of thousands of pipes. The organ is used for regular recitals and remains a distinctive musical and architectural feature of Center City Philadelphia.
