Atomic Liquors opened in 1952 and is widely cited as Las Vegas's oldest freestanding bar. The downtown Fremont Street location operated as a local watering hole through the city's mid-century growth and has been preserved and renovated while retaining its historic neon signage. The venue includes indoor bar space and a rooftop area and is a recognized piece of Las Vegas social history.
