City Hall, Sunderland

City Hall is a modern municipal building located in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England, opened in November 2021. It serves as the headquarters for Sunderland City Council and was constructed to replace the old Civic Centre. Designed by FaulknerBrowns, the striking glass and steel structure features two office blocks connected by a glass atrium, covering a total area of 190,000 square feet. The project, which cost £42 million, was part of a larger £100 million investment in the city. Visitors can appreciate its contemporary architecture and the role it plays in the local government.
