Evan Davies Building

The Evan Davies Building, located at 13 South Terrace in Fremantle, Western Australia, is a heritage-listed structure completed in 1899 during the gold boom era. Originally opened as the Literary Institute, it is noted for its Federation Academic Classical architectural style, featuring brick, render, and iron. The building served as a cultural hub, housing a library and various community rooms, and was renamed in honor of local MP Evan Davies after the City of Fremantle acquired it in 1949.
