Lincoln Theatre (U Street)

The Lincoln Theatre at 1215 U Street NW is a historic performance venue on the U Street corridor that long served as an entertainment anchor for the neighborhood's Black cultural life. It hosted leading African American performers across the 20th century and later underwent restoration to return to regular public programming. Today it operates as an active live-performance venue presenting concerts, plays, and community events.
