Hagen House

Hagen House, also known as the Omar Jones House, is a historic two-story stone home located in Ellicott City, Maryland, built in 1845. It was constructed by William Davis for his sisters and is notable for its association with Omar J. Jones, a key figure in Howard County's political history who established the charter form of government. The house features tall vertical windows added in 1890 and has undergone restoration by the Gault and Jones families. Situated near the original Columbia turnpike, it offers a glimpse into 19th-century architecture and the region's development, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
