Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden Commission (The Met)

The Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden at The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a seasonal program that commissions site-specific installations and sculptural works by contemporary artists. Each summer the roof garden presents a temporary installation that engages the museum’s architecture, landscaped terrace, and views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. The program is notable for presenting large-scale, site-adapted works that are removed at the end of their exhibition season.
