Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building (site of 1995 bombing)

The Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building at this address was the target of a domestic terrorist bombing on April 19, 1995. The explosion killed 168 people, including 19 children, and left the nine-story building in ruins. The remaining structure was cleared and the site was redeveloped as the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, which was dedicated on April 19, 2000.
