The Rat Pack at the Sands Hotel Copa Room

The Sands Hotel and its Copa Room on the Strip were principal venues for Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and other Rat Pack performers throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Those performances helped establish the image of Las Vegas as a national center for celebrity nightclub entertainment. The Sands stood at the site now occupied by The Venetian on Las Vegas Boulevard.
