Merrell Center

The Leonard E. Merrell Center is a versatile 7,200-seat arena located in Katy, Texas, opened in 2005. It has served as a home for various sports teams, including the Katy Copperheads and the Katy Ruff Riders, and has hosted significant events like the Southland Conference Basketball Tournaments until 2022. The arena is not only a sports venue but also a popular concert location, accommodating up to 7,200 attendees for concerts and 1,500 for theater shows. With facilities for banquets, trade shows, and meetings, it features a large arena floor, a divisible meeting room, and a spacious lobby. The center is also adjacent to the Katy ISD L. D. Robinson Pavilion & Rodeo Arena, making it a central hub for community events and activities.
