King Street Station (historic rail terminal)

King Street Station opened in 1906 as Seattle's principal railroad terminal and is noted for its prominent clock tower and historic rotunda. The station served as a major passenger hub through the 20th century and underwent a comprehensive restoration completed in 2013 that repaired infrastructure systems and restored historic architectural finishes. It continues to operate as Seattle's main Amtrak station, combining historic elements with modern transportation functions.
