Lincoln Bank Building

The Lincoln Bank Building, located on Hennepin Avenue in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 2012. Established in 1917 by automobile magnate Harry Pence, the bank was named after Abraham Lincoln to embody qualities of strength and loyalty. Originally serving the automobile trade, the bank expanded and moved to its current location in 1921, featuring an eight-story design by Long, Lamoreaux and Long. After being acquired by Northwestern National Bank, the building transitioned to residential development in 2013, showcasing its evolution from a financial institution to modern living spaces.
