Roebuck Tavern

The Roebuck Tavern, located at 21 Dedham Street in Wrentham, Massachusetts, is a historic site built in 1795 by David Fisher, a pioneer settler of the area. This two-story Federal style tavern served as a popular stop on the stagecoach route between Boston and Providence, Rhode Island, making it a significant location for travelers in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building remained within the Fisher family until 1910 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, highlighting its importance in American history.
