Givins Beverly Castle

Givins Beverly Castle, also known as The Irish Castle, is a unique 19th-century building located in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Constructed between 1886 and 1887 by real estate developer Robert C. Givins, this three-story structure features three crenelated towers and is the only building in Chicago officially referred to as a 'castle.' After serving as a residence and briefly housing the Chicago Female College, it was purchased by the Beverly Unitarian Church in 1942, which continues to own it today. The castle is noted for its intriguing history and has been rumored to be haunted, making it a point of interest for both tourists and researchers alike.
