Homer Laughlin House

The Homer Laughlin House, built in 1882 in East Liverpool, Ohio, was the residence of Homer Laughlin, a notable pottery manufacturer and founder of the Homer Laughlin China Company. This historic house featured distinctive architectural terra cotta sourced locally. In 1916, it was acquired by the Fraternal Order of Eagles but was ultimately demolished to make way for a parking lot. Despite its destruction, the property was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985, making it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
