Rothenborg House

The Rothenborg House, located in Klampenborg just north of Copenhagen, is a striking private residence designed by renowned Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in 1930. Originally built for lawyer Max Rothenborg, the house is celebrated for its modernist design, featuring a white facade, iron-framed windows, and cubic forms, despite its traditional brick construction. The interior was meticulously crafted, with the owner's wife actively involved in its furnishings, making it a complete work of art. Although it has undergone several modifications over the years, the Rothenborg House remains an important example of early modern architecture, drawing comparisons to the works of Le Corbusier.
