Mission Concepción - occasional reports of unexplained phenomena at an 18th-century mission

Mission San Francisco de la Espada de la Concepción, commonly called Mission Concepción, is an 18th-century Spanish mission that is part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. Visitors and volunteer staff have occasionally reported hearing unexplained voices, footsteps, or sensing cold spots around the church and convento areas; such accounts appear in regional paranormal write-ups and on some local ghost tour itineraries. The mission's long documented history is well established, and accounts of paranormal activity are anecdotal and subject to debate. The site remains an active historic landmark and place of worship.
