Wells Fargo Center (tallest building in Oregon)

Completed in 1972 and designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the Wells Fargo Center is the tallest building in Portland and the state of Oregon at roughly 546 feet and 40 stories. Originally named First National Bank Tower, the modernist office skyscraper remains a major corporate and commercial address in downtown Portland.
