Oregon Zoo

The Oregon Zoo traces its origins to 1888, making it one of the oldest zoos in the United States; its main campus is located in Washington Park. The zoo occupies a multi-acre site at the head of Portland's West Hills and operates animal care, conservation, and education programs. It is a major regional attraction and is owned and operated by the City of Portland through Metro.
