Gaiety Theatre, Zeehan

The Gaiety Theatre and Grand Hotel, built in 1898 in Zeehan, Tasmania, is a historic venue that combines a theatre and hotel, notable for its rich history and architectural significance. Originally constructed after a fire destroyed the Royal Exchange hotel, it features a large stage and a seating capacity of over 1,000. The theatre has hosted a variety of performances, including the world's first feature-length film, The Story of the Kelly Gang, in 1907.
