Plumb Grove

Plumb Grove, also known as the Nesbitt-Warner House, is a historic house located near Clear Spring, Maryland, built around 1832 in the Federal style. Originally part of a larger estate called 'Nesbitt's Inheritance,' it remained in the Nesbitt family until 1893, when it was sold to the Warner family, who lived there until 1967. The property was then acquired by the Washington County Board of Education for local schools. Recognized for its historical significance, Plumb Grove was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011 and is now owned by the Clear Spring District Historical Association, offering visitors a glimpse into the region's rich history through its restored interiors.
