The Gramse

The Gramse, also known as The Nicholson, is a historic apartment building located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Built in 1915, this two-story structure showcases Bungalow/American Craftsman architecture with its distinctive yellow brick and limestone facade, raised brick basement, and cross-hipped roof adorned with dormers. Notable features include decorative half-timbering, stuccoed sections, three-sided bay windows, and inviting corner porches. The building has been converted into condominiums and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2011, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in architectural history and preservation.
