St. Paul's Chapel (Ground Zero relief site and historic arts programming)

St. Paul's Chapel, completed in 1766 and located near Wall Street, is the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan and served as a relief center for recovery workers after the September 11, 2001 attacks. The chapel has hosted concerts, exhibitions, and commemorative programs that connect its historic architecture to contemporary civic and cultural life. It remains an active parish and a frequently visited historic and cultural site adjacent to the World Trade Center complex.
