Washington National Cathedral (Mount St. Alban)

Construction of the Washington National Cathedral began in 1907 and the building was completed and consecrated in 1990 after phased construction. The cathedral is an Episcopal church in the neo-Gothic style and hosts national events, interfaith services, and public tours. Its "Space Window" contains a small fragment of lunar rock from the Apollo 11 mission.
