Maples Cottage

Maples Cottage is a historic Greek Revival cottage located in Westborough, Massachusetts, built in 1832 by Rev. William White. Situated on the former grounds of the Lyman School for Boys, this cottage has a rich history, having originally been part of a 1725 parsonage. Acquired by the state in 1884, it served as part of a reform school until its closure. Although much of its original Greek Revival styling has been lost, the cottage was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and is part of a historic district established in 1994, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in American architectural history.
