The Centro Direzionale di Fontivegge is a striking modern complex located in Perugia, Italy, near the Fontivegge railway station. Designed by renowned architect Aldo Rossi in 1983, it features a blend of public, commercial, and residential spaces, including the management center for the Umbria region. The centerpiece is a large square, originally named 'Piazza del Bacio', adorned with a fountain and surrounded by impressive postmodern buildings made from local materials like travertine and bricks. Notable elements include a towering structure resembling a temple and a preserved smokestack from the historic Perugina chocolate factory, symbolizing the area's industrial heritage.
