Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Buenos Aires

The Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry (FFyB) is part of the University of Buenos Aires, founded in 1957. Located in the Recoleta neighborhood, it offers a range of graduate and undergraduate programs in biochemistry, pharmacy, and food science. With nearly 5,000 students, it is one of the smaller faculties at UBA. The faculty is home to several research institutes focusing on various fields, including clinical biochemistry and nanobiotechnology. Governed by a democratic system involving students, professors, and graduates, FFyB is led by Dean Dr. Pablo Evelson. Its proximity to other UBA faculties and the Hospital de Clínicas makes it a hub for medical and scientific education in Argentina.
