Oklahoma State Capitol

The Oklahoma State Capitol houses the offices of the governor and the chambers of the Oklahoma Legislature. The Capitol grounds uniquely host active oil production-oil rigs and wells remain on the grounds and the site is often noted as the only U.S. state capitol property with active oil wells. The sandstone and marble building stands along North Lincoln Boulevard in downtown Oklahoma City and serves as the state's primary seat of government.
