Orchestra Hall (home of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra)

Orchestra Hall opened in 1919 as the long-time home of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and is recognized for its historic auditorium and acoustic qualities. The venue has hosted countless symphonic, chamber, and touring performances and remains a central pillar of Detroit's classical music scene. Orchestra Hall is part of the city's cultural corridor on Woodward Avenue and underwent restoration efforts in the late 20th century to preserve its performance function.
