Musical Instrument Museum (MIM)

The Musical Instrument Museum opened in Phoenix in 2010 and houses over 15,000 musical instruments and associated objects from more than 200 countries and territories. Its galleries present instruments with audio and video recordings of the instruments being played to show cultural context. The museum is widely described as one of the largest collections of musical instruments in the world.
