Franklin Hall (Goodwell, Oklahoma)

Franklin Hall, located in Goodwell, Oklahoma, is a historic building constructed between 1909 and 1910. Originally serving as a dormitory for students and faculty of the Panhandle Agricultural Institute, it has undergone various transformations throughout its history. The building, which is notable for its simple concrete structure, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It played a significant role in the establishment of higher education in the region and is the only surviving structure from the school's founding era. Today, it stands as a testament to the educational history of Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
