Portlandia (large copper façade statue)

Portlandia is a large copper statue by sculptor Raymond Kaskey mounted on the facade of the Portland Building. Installed in 1985, it depicts an allegorical female figure based on the city seal and is frequently cited as the second-largest copper repoussé statue in the United States after the Statue of Liberty. The sculpture is a prominent, oft-photographed piece of public art in downtown Portland.
