H. G. Vaughn House

The H. G. Vaughn House is a stunning example of Dutch Colonial Revival architecture located in Sherborn, Massachusetts. Built in 1915 by the Boston firm Little & Browne, this historic summer estate features a unique L-shaped design, a marble courtyard, and a striking red tile roof adorned with four Dutch-inspired gables. Inside, visitors can admire a collection of 18th- and 19th-century architectural elements and beautiful murals depicting Roman ruins and Dutch street scenes. The house, once owned by prominent Boston lawyer Henry G. Vaughn, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers alike.
