Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (MACC)

The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center opened in 2007 as a city-operated cultural facility focused on Mexican and Mexican-American arts, history, and community programming. The center includes gallery space, a theater, classrooms, and community meeting rooms and regularly hosts exhibitions, performances, and educational programs for local residents. It was established to support and promote Mexican American cultural heritage in Austin. The center is administered by the City of Austin's cultural services.
