Minute Maid Park (incorporated Union Station train shed)

Minute Maid Park opened in 2000 as the home of the Houston Astros Major League Baseball team and features a retractable roof over the playing field. The ballpark's outfield retains and incorporates the historic 19th-century Houston & Texas Central Railway Union Station train shed as part of its structure and public spaces. The integration of the train shed is a prominent example of adaptive reuse of a historic railroad building in downtown Houston.
