The Bryant

The Bryant is a striking residential building located at 16 West 40th Street in Midtown Manhattan, just south of Bryant Park. Developed by HFZ Capital Group and designed by renowned architect David Chipperfield, the building features a unique facade made of precast, polished concrete, which sets it apart from typical glass structures. Completed in 2018, The Bryant includes both luxury condominiums and a hotel, occupying the last undeveloped plot adjacent to Bryant Park. The building's design incorporates colorful marble and sandstone chips that echo the nearby architecture, while the elegant interiors boast herringbone floors. This project marks Chipperfield's first ground-up commission in New York, adding a modern touch to the historic skyline.
