Silifke Atatürk Museum

The Silifke Atatürk Museum, located in the district of Silifke in Mersin Province, Turkey, is a historic two-storey house that served as the residence of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of modern Turkey, during his visit in 1925. Originally owned by Hacı Hulusi, the mayor of Silifke, the house was later purchased by the Ministry of Culture and transformed into a museum in 1987. Visitors can explore the ground floor, which features a library and office, while the upper floor is dedicated to Atatürk's legacy, showcasing ethnographical items from the 1920s, including a gun with Atatürk's initials and documents related to his farm in the area.
