J. R. Darling Store

The J.R. Darling Store, located in Groton, Vermont, is a historic commercial building that dates back to around 1895. As the last general store in the town, it reflects the area's rich commercial history, which began with a tailor's shop established by one of Groton's early settlers. The store features a distinctive L-shaped design with Victorian elements and has been a community hub since its inception. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. Today, visitors can explore its charming architecture and enjoy a winery shop located in the front retail section, while the rear houses residences.
