Elisabet Ney Museum (Formosa studio)

Elisabet Ney designed and built her neoclassical studio, called Formosa, in 1892 and lived and worked there for decades. The limestone building was purpose-built as a sculptor’s studio and retains original studio features including high ceilings and large north-facing windows. The site is operated as the Elisabet Ney Museum, interpreting her life and work in Austin.
