Charlotte Museum of History and Hezekiah Alexander Homesite

The Charlotte Museum of History preserves and interprets the history of Charlotte and the surrounding Mecklenburg County through exhibits, programs, and stewardship of historic properties. Its campus includes the Hezekiah Alexander Homesite, a stone farmhouse built around 1774 that is one of the oldest surviving houses in the county.
