Park Central (former shopping center)

Park Central opened in 1957 as one of Phoenix's earliest modern shopping centers. Over subsequent decades retail activity declined as shopping shifted to newer suburban malls, and much of the original retail footprint was repurposed. The site now functions mainly as an office and mixed-use complex rather than a traditional enclosed shopping mall.
