Beersheba Turkish railway station

The Beersheba Turkish railway station, opened in 1915 during the Ottoman Empire, played a crucial role in World War I logistics by connecting troops and supplies to the front lines. After being captured by British forces in 1917, the station was eventually closed in 1927 due to low usage. Following Israeli independence, the site was transformed into a National Historic Site and renovated into a rail heritage museum in 2013, featuring a restored steam locomotive.
